TERMS & CONDITIONS

These are my Terms and Conditions for Custom Vocal Recordings and Custom Songwriting. Please read carefully.

 

For songs that you have already written with your own vocal melody and lyrics you will keep 100% of any revenues generated from the song.

 

PLEASE NOTE: There is no mention of the name 'Shelley Harland' name on your project - you will only use your own artist name. If you need a pseudonym I can provide you with one. If you did want a feature with my name this is a seperate conversation and cost and only if the project alines with me as an artist. This can be discussed.

 

For songs that I have written with you the following percentages of royalties and sync fees apply.

 

Lyric writing - 25% on writers share and 25% on masters

Melody writing - 25% on writers share and 25% on masters

 

So on a full song with lyrics and vocal melody it would be 50% per song on all royalties and sync fees. And the remaining amount to the other parties involved in the instrumental. The fee that you have paid for the session is

 

There is an opportunity for a BUYOUT instead of sharing royalties. This can be discussed.

 

I like to give a turn around time of a week. Usually I will get the song back to you earlier than that. If there is a deadline date I can work with you to make sure you have what you need in time.

 

I include 1 round of revisions with your project. This would be described as a a few small edits. If it looks like a re-recording there will be additional charges. The charges start at $50 depending on how extensive the edit's are.

 

Please give as much detail as possible prior to the project starting. This really helps me understand what you are envisioning. Sending links to songs and vocals you like really helps me get in your head and deliver the project as you are hearing it. This also helps cut down revisions.

 

You do not have permission to use my vocals for any additional projects/songs outside of this project.

 

There are no refunds available once a project has begun.
